I quess everyone thinks I like the abuse this topic generated. Let's see, I been called: brainwashed, fanatic (MrX); drone, should be locked in a metal asylum(Innoxx); ignorant (Ninty9); sheep, indoctrinated, enslaved (Solidus); fire1: Jesus freak(=[DOA]=vonmeyer); a horse with blinders on that follows a carrot, closeminded, biblebeating robot, more of a joke than anything else, blind (lowspark).
I won't even go into the profane & vulgar way the Holy Bible has been attacked.
But with 145 replies and 1046 views, i'd say this topic has hit a nerve and needs to be thought about.
Yes I've quoted the Bible alot (as did others) because much can be learned from the past, technology has changed greatly but human nature stays the same.
People still hate, love, lie, betray etc.
To think you have it all figured out by yourself is a dangerous state. To rely solely on your feelings to determine your beliefs can lead to chaos. The more I "learned" in college the more I realized how little I really knew. Theories were taught as truth and God was mocked and man made ruler of himself. The holocaust bares witness to the depraved state man can sink to when left to his own beliefs (of course people are starting to call that fiction too even though there are still survivors left).
I'm sure with all the "views" this topic has generated that others reading this have the same beliefs as me yet don't reply because of the bashing they will receive.
Anyway thanks for the well thought out replies (both pro & con) that keep this thread going. angel:
