You guys aren't alone. We demonstrate that behaviour as well. It's a product of having a bigger brother next door. Like us with Australia.

It's a good thing. It's good to have a basis for comparison, you find out alot of things about your own country, and how lucky you are, when you have a bigger country to compare yourself too.
