I love mitsus. Some of the best goddamn cars in teh whole world. OF course mitsu is goign through a ver yvery bad time right now and have taken away a lot of things such as help for older cars but they have a new guy running their finance and he is expected to turn the company right around. Hell mitsubishi even took the chance and came strait to the consumer via a forum I frequent. They came and asked us Montero owneres how muc hwe liked they and a whole bunch of questions. They even got a couple of the guys together and did a little 4x4 run with them and video interviewed a couple. Then they got together a mitsubishi owner awareness weekend at their Cali HQ and had hundreds of people express their oppinions. Not to mention mitsubishi are strong, capable, reliable, and well taken care of vehicles. Ive also seen some of their older engings hit 300k miles with only basic maintainence.
look at the lancer, mirage, and such
Also check out Hyundai. Very inexpensive but extremely good cars. Most have a decent amount of power and great fuel economy.[/quote:cc6bd]
