Good call.

Of the movies that are out now, go see:

Hitch (PG) (It's a date movie, plain and simple)
The Ring 2 (14A) (Scary enough for her to bury her head in your shoulder/lap)
Sin City (18A) (Just fucking cool)
Sahara (PG-13) (Has Matthew McConaughey in it. Chicks dig him, apparently)

As for dinner, go with something light. Try a nice spanish tapas place or maybe something french or greek. Steer clear of italian (pasta makes one sleepy and it's generally messy), middle-eastern (your garlic breath will strip paint), or indian (nothing ruins the mood like explosive diarrhea). Japanese might be cool too, if you can find a casual place where you could share sushi or something.
