I don't think so. There are already enough privacy issues, in my mind, as it stands today, and there will be even more in the future. I'm dead set against biometrics like thumb and iris scanners. Soon in the US you'll have RFID chips in all passports, and I wouldn't doubt a national ID card for both the US and Canada with all sorts of information on it.

I know this is national geographic, but there's no way.

Soon they'll be asking to implant chips in people so they can see where they go and what stores they go to so they can better market items to us.
