As far as I'm concerned, whatever works well in movies should work well in our "scenarios" seeing as it is ALL fiction. Zombies AREN'T real. So heavy weapons and shotties will do fine....

^You're right for the most part, but then again, there's so many variations in these movies tat it's hard to tell. We've gone from limping, retarded zombies who crave brains, to sprinting, semi-smart zombies who have a thirst for intestines. I'd just wait to see what they did, then get weapons accordingly.
Slow Zombies = Heavy Weaponry so you can sit back and kick ass.
Fast Zombies = Lightweight weaponry so you can hightail your ass outta there.
