not a bad flick. one of those you might watch again to pick up or revisit anything you may have missed. not going into detail about the subject (THINK afflleck and damon meet physics engineering meet alexander graham bell; the actual subject of the movie also seems to be more of a backdrop or catalyst to events that unfold) . the movie almost seems more like a PBS episode of NOVA but with dramatic dialogue (the actors don't stop to overexplain key moments or lines ) . on the dialogue itself, almost every line centers around moving the film foward, there aren't lines wasted on setting up the character ie. explaining why he/she does this; the acting is at sometimes wooden but like the film....raw (clerks is the same way but at times you get distracted by the level of acting, great dialogue but somewhat wooden acting).

this film isn't an action film, it's not really a true sci-fi film, not a thriller nor character study, it's a little bit of all the genres. the very ending is chilling if you read it right. it's going to be another one of those cult movies; a love it or hate it film.
