edit: I have decided to get a DS. It has some decent titles coming out for it. I also love the wireless, picto chat, dual screens, stereo sound.

eh, i think the DS is going to be like the sega saturn. It has 1 or 2 cool games. It'll be lost in the market once the larger systems and PSP grab hold. The game production numbers will go down and it'll eventually die out. |
It's only real competition is the PSP - The console market really doesn't effect the handheld market, which Nintendo has dominated since its beginnings....
I think it'll win over the PSP, personally....
