It would not be worth the cost. You are better off waiting until the next generation of cards come out.(GeForce 5?). One the next generation is on the market, the prices of the GeForce 4s will go down considerably. You can decide then how much money to spend.
With a game like MOHAA, it isn't worth getting the GeForce4. MOHAA uses the Quake3 engine which was developed long before the GF4 came out. It may become usefull to have a GF4 when DOOM 3 comes out, but until then save your money.[/quote:fa18e]
for every card comparison thread I have ever seen, someone mentions waiting for the next gen card, BAH!!!! when the gf3 were big, ppl said wait for the gf4, when the gf4's started hitting the market, everyone said wait for the 4400/4200, now that those are out, wait for the gf5/radeon 9700, best thing to do, go to bestbuy, buy the best hardware you can afford, test it, return it, go find a cheaper price someplace else
oh, and btw, 4200 or 4400 is best bet for the casual gamer (coming from someone who uses a tnt2 daily...)
