How much would it cost for someone to set-up a server for it? Demo or main game, with a certain amount of players......would be fun to have a GF1 server..
Im assuming the server would cost quite a bit. Some of the official ea servers can barely handle a 64 player game of bf:nam. Battlefield 2 has some physics incorperated into the game so thats an even bigger load on the server.

Im currently raising hell on some forums about this demo "coming soon" bollocks, think i heard the same "coming soon" bullshit about halflife 2 back in 2003 and dod source earlier this year. Friday isn't even a confirmed date for release just a rumour thats meant to have been started by some ea employees. cry:[/quote:c70c0]

A: We understand that it will be released this Friday, June 10th. The precise time is unknown, but it will probably be around 12 noon Pacific Time. As with previous Battlefield demos, it will contain one map. No, we don't know which map it will be.Q: What about the demo? When is the demo coming out? I want to play!

From IGN BF2 FAQ. . .and an EA rep said that theyd release the demo in "a little over a week" - which being said on the 2nd. . .would be the 10th and on. Little reason to release it on a Saturday. . .as many kids are getting out of the schoolage now.

Itll drop tomorrow.
