I've always found there are 1 or two settings you can turn down in order to help your game speed, without really sacrificing the looks of the game. I tweaked around in the settings and found these were enough to make the game stunning and lag free.

Lighting settings effects the look of the player models, its the differance between them looking like they do in the videos or not. It has to do with normal mapping the models, medium does only player models, high does player and vehicles. Also, when i commented before that my game didnt look as nice as miyagis i had texture filtering on medium, put it to high and was impressed by the change. Dynamic shadows is off because it was causing a graphics glitch.

All shots from a nearly full 64 person server, i beleive i was 63 joining. No lag.
