For anyone wanting to run 1280x1024 or whatever edit your short cut so it has this at the end
+szx 1280 +szy 1024
Or you can replace those to whatever you want like 1600x1200 or whatever.
Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2 Demo\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1280 +szy 1024
