Anzac = Australia & New Zealand Army Corps - Started in Gallipoli, during WW1 - Harks back to our tradition of fighting together in major overseas conflicts (Boer War, WW1, WW2, Korea & Vietnam) - We have ANZAC day on April 25th every year - It's our version of memorial/veterans Day....I guess they have it once a week at the army pubs in Aussie! biggrin:
