Thats a BIG myth about subs. The cone size does not dictate ANYTHING about how the sub will perform except that (obvioulsy) more cone area = potential to be louder. A 10 is NOT "quicker" than a 12 or 15". Cone size should only be used in the buying decision for space contraints or for how loud you want it. A 12" or 15" WONT sound "sloppier" than a 10" unless it is installed improperly. 10"s are fine in your application though, just as 12"s or 15"s would be, you dont need to change or anyhting, just wanted to explain that to ya
