Withholding food may be the only non-violent way they have to punish these kids when they 'act out'. Remember, the kid is in the camp because he hit his grandmother and threatened her with a knife.

I am not saying the kid deserved to die, but there he was, working himself up a head of steam. What do you think the counslers should do?
