I have both contacts and glasses, but never wear my contacts anymore, here are some pro's and cons I can come up with.

And for the throw aways or the 2 week/1 month ones, you can use them longer than that. I had the ones where you throw them away after 1 week, and I used them for about 1-2 months before I tossed them out. Everyone I know with contact does the same thing.

Pro:
-dont have to wear glasses
-you can wear sunglasses

Cons:
-cleaning them (but there is the solution that lets you just place them in without cleaning them)
-you cant go anywhere over night without your stuff to clean them and take them out. (if you drink, then this will be a big problem because waking up in the morning with your contacts in is hell!!!!)
-if you rub your eyes too hard the contact will come out. (this has happen to me so many times)
