No Jon Stewart does make certain logical arguments. His show is to emphasize the stupidity of the media, politics and culture that we are bombarded everyday and to show the double standards of people as well as the right and left wing. Thats his argument and his agenda. To show how simple minded ppl absorb everything they take in without filtering the information. Of course he does this using humour and witty remarks. If Jon Stewart acted like that seriously and without humour, then people would think he was a complete jerk acting childishly. Noone is talking about his humour, but how he makes his points wouldn't stand up very strongly in a serious debate. I'm not criticising him at all, noone is. I think the guy is a genius.
