AA and Af uses video ram, doesn't affect sytem ram.
How can this be possible when there is a clear problem amongst BF2 users running AA and AF with lower system memory ''empty win32 module bf2'', they obtain an error. Can read some more about that here: http://www.broadbandreports.com/forum/r ... ~days=9999
[code:a4eba]I have two pc's one with 1.5gb of memoery and the other with just 1 gb and I have the problem with the 1 gb of memory??? So it might be a virtual memory problem?
Specs on the problem PC
3.6 P4
1GB kingston Hyper X
Raid 0 74gb raptors
PCI Express X800XT 256mb
SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS
Specs on PC that runs ok
3.2 P4
1.5GB just kingston value memory
250gb sata maxtor
ati 9800 pro agp
soundblaster audigy 2
For me I love realism games and mods so i really dont care for BF2.. The sounds blow and even the graphic blow what a arcade type of game...Cant wait for FH2 to come out!!!![/code:a4eba]
Not arguing, just trying to learn the difference is all.[/quote:a4eba]
That errors meant to be punkbuster related, something about punkbuster being loaded into virtual ram and the program basically not liking it. Best to close everything before starting the game and close any memory horing background tasks to avoid this.
