Yes, it does. What you SHOULD do is get your hands on a small drive (at least 2GB) and make it the primary drive, and your HD you have from your mobo NOW the slave. Load the OS to the small drive, copy all the info you need from it. THEN, once you have all your data, format your drive from your old mobo, and switch them (primary/slave), and install the OS. Copy all the data from that drive back again. Sounds weird, but read it slow.

As for the CPU/Mobo combo, how much are you looking to spend alltogether?
