I'm not nearly as qualified as some on this site, but here's a suggestion that might help. First off, back up all of the mods, maps, etc., that you have. If you installed any specific ones over the past week or two you might want to consider leaving them out while you test the game.

Next, uninstall everything from MOHAA and follow up with a Defrag. Actually, run it a couple of times to make sure that you've put your drive in pretty good shape. After that, reinstall and try running the game without any mods, etc. If it's working out ok, try installing your mods and test again.
