My dad subs at my old high school. He's a retired army Lt. Colonel looking to kill time. He's been doing it now for about 15 years. Unlike other subs, he teaches Calc and other math classes and works almost everyday because the teachers specifically request him because he can actually teach and keep kids in line. When he first started, some kid was giving him shit and he told the kid to get out of the class. Kid told him no and you can't put your hands on me or I'll sue, etc. My dad grabbed the kid by the shirt and and "escorted" him to the hall. I guess the word is out, because he hasn't had an incident since then.
