There is no way the US could ever use nukes against any country. The reprocussions of it would be immense. The whole idea of Nato, UN and the western allies would be compromised. Do you really think that Canada the UK Germany etc. would say oh well when the US nukes Iraq. I think not. There would be global turmoil much worse than american troops losing their lives.

If something like that were to happen it still wouldn't necessarialy bring the western allies together and destroy saddam and his army. Remember, America is somewhat the instigator here. Support for the war would go up after loss of american life yes, but does that mean a full out invasion would be supported? I don't think so.

Leave the "what if's" to your president, and when the time comes he'll make the decision.
