I don't think they should be taken down. One could argue that the stars represent the Americans. And some of our Germans friends here can easily say that they feel disrespected with those stars up. The reason the cross is up because it looks nice. I mean we have a few History buffs here (inlcuding myself) who enjoy little things like that. We know that WWII was a terrible period for many people, we do not denie that. I don't think BS means anything by having the swastika or the Iron Cross up on the site, it just looks...well...it looks cool.
