Simply adding .pk3 files won't crash your game, often...

make sure you install only tested maps and you shouldn't have any issues.

If you do, the worst thing that'll happen is the game crashes or you'll see some errors in your server console.

If things get a little unstable, just remove the .pk3 files sequentially until things smooth out.

Not a big deal.
