It was fact that several other similiar cases to Rosa's occurred, but weren't used as a "spark" for the civil rights campaign for integration. Rosa Parks was significantly used because she led a working, married life, at a finiancially stable job; which made her a perfect candidate to face all the media pressure as well as being an active member of the NAACP.
