1. What OS are you using ? Win95/98/NT/2K/XP/ME?
2. What is your current installed amount of RAM?
3. What is the current size of the swapfile min & max set at ?
4. What is the size of your registry?
5. What CPU speed?
6. Do you have any HDD errors?
#2, #3, #4, #5 = My Comp > Properties
#6 = Win Explorer > Select Drive > Properties > Check for errors.
post the answers otherwise everyone is just guessing and if youre stuffing about switching off services and playing with memory settings you dont want that.
