I've always wondered about that. How can a rivalry be between two schools that aren't even in the same state be as intense as Alabama-Auburn? Heck, we gotta live with those people every day of the year! Coaches that came to Alabama from outside of the program, like Bill Curry and Dennis Francioni, all say that they have never experienced anything like it in their career.
(and as far as "best" is concerned, come talk to me after you've won 12 National Championships!)
