M16 always was a piece of shit though, in vietnam when it was introduced it was very unreliable, had upgrades and all but it still seems prone to jamming for the slightest thing. annoy:
From what he's told me those rifles have a really bad reputation over there, he does escort for convoys etc. Last time out they caught a few "insurgants" and some of the guys on his squad that had m16's swapped them out for the captured ak's. biggrin:
