Just to clarify, the "Liberals" are a political party, and they probably lean a bit to the right side of the spectrum much like the Democrats do in the US. The article says centre-left, but I would disagree with that characterization.

This won't change anything. People aren't willing to put the Conservatives (again a political party) in power, and the liberals are waist deep in corruption and scandals. The NDP, which are the most left wing of the three main parties will only gat 15-20% of the vote. Liberals will get somewhere around 35% or so and the Conservatives will get 30%. There will be another Liberal minority government in Canada.

All the political parties are corrupt. The conservatives would mess things up just as much as the liberals. The reason their not in power is because nobody trusts Harper. The conservatives have had so many chances to capitalize on the liberals mistakes, but they can't pull it off because their too inept. I'm sure it would be the same story with the NDP or Bloc if it were at all possible for the Bloc to get into power, but right now it's not.
