I'm not sure what kind of phone you have but check out:

I have an older LG but I bought a data cable for it for around $17 and through bitpim I can edit mp3's and pics and upload them to my phone.

You can also back up all of your contacts to your pc and actually edit and print them as well.

The best part is that bitpim is a free program.
