that only happens after about a year - 2years. not a big problem at all

So why is that not a big problem? A year- 2years is not a very long time, I would certainly want it to last longer than that if I paid all that money for it.
And Akuma, I bought a Dell DJ at the same time my brother bought his iPod and his has terrible battery life compared to mine.

considering im on my 2nd ipod for free in the last 3 years, that doesnt seem like a big problem. if it was every month that it would die, then yeah that would be a problem. but after 2 years its not a big problem at all imo. lots of shit doesnt even last 2 years. take a look at hard drives, lots of them fail within months. other computer hardware somtimes doesnt even last 2 years. and with the ipod you can get a replacement for as little as $75. and whatever type of ipod they have then too

who wants to get two in 3 years? and why should you settle to have to pay anything at all? you're saying it's fine if your ipod breaks, cause it only costs $75? I would rather buy a player that wouldn't break in the first place so I don't have to pay ANYTHING.[/quote:dc356]
did you read what akuma said? if not i suggest go up a few posts and read it. and you do not have to send it in at all. say you buy it at best buy, or compusa. if you want a new one, go to the store, show them receipt, and boom you have a no one no questions asked.
