and Himmler, my point is, why buy it if you are going to have to put extra effort into it? it would be easier to just buy an ipod alternative that does the same thing (for less $$$) and NOT have to take it back...

but what happens if you get a zen and it breaks? no warrenty to get a new one a year later. just like akuma said, they all last about the same amout of time, but you only hear about the ipod problems because out of 100 people wiht mp3 players, 85 are probably ipods.
