Exactly what Normar said. You can't rely on your computer to boot/work properly if you retain the old BIOS settings in your HD, even if you loaded the new ones. Those old files still exist, this is why you should reinstall your OS whenever you replace a motherboard. Just don't forget to get the newest Detonator drivers, and DirectX drivers when you're done!
