That's what makes Xmas fun for me. My boys (almost 5 and 2) are all jazzed up now. The little one doesn't even know what to expect, he's just enjoying the decorations, tree, etc. At this age they're easy to shop for and hard to let down. They'll be happy with whatever they get.
I realize that this won't last long, but like Nyck said, you have to raise your kids to be greatful for what they have and not spoil them and give them a sense of entitlement. |

i can see how you would think that about most of the ppl here, but i do my best to treat everyone as i want to be treated, often to have it thrown in my face...
i dont like the feeling of pressure i think madmartagen is talking about that you need to buy buy buy for everyone or else youll come off as a bad family member, its not the way xmas and the holidays should be...
and i used to do charity with my parents when i was in hs, sometimes i wish i could do some of it again, i know i should, thats really the best way to feel good about yourself for xmas
anyway, i think i wanna celebrate kwaanza from now on, i went around the mall today with my brother when we were shopping, and we were doing the kwaanza solute to everything we saw "harambii! harambii! harambii!!!"
