You're a baseball fan, but I'll still try to respect you for 1 minute and a half while I answer this post -

[quote:704d8]Seriously don't even post when you don't even know half the politics of baseball. It's much much more than "us players need lots more money"
Do a little research before you post and sound like a dumbass. Just a heads up for ya.[/quote:704d8]

First off - it's not about fucking players right. It's about fucking money. If you think anyone has ever fucking "struck" over ethics you're out of your mind. People strike for TWO reasons; safety on the job - and money. That's it. And I cant tell you the last time I heard some poor ball-player getting clubbed to death by a former disgruntled hot-dog vendor.

[quote:704d8]"It came down to us playing baseball or having our reputations and life ripped by the fans," said Steve Kline, the Cardinals' player representative.

"Baseball would have never been the same if we had walked out."[/quote:704d8]

Even this poor punk seems to realize what the score is. Doesn't matter what the concession/demands are - ::cough::fans::cough:: wouldn't have put up with this shit. Not when the lowest player salary hovers around 200,000 (soon to be higher). Sorry MATEY but it's pretty hard to relate to the POOR, LITTLE MAN who's pulling in 300 g's a year.

So teams get a temporary reprieve on cancellation. Great. Good for them. They only had to risk destroying the American version of the game in the first place.

Well dook on mate.
