I've been saying this same thing for a long time - this is the major downfall of U.S operations in Iraq. This war is all about public relations and yet that seems to be of the lowest importance to American forces. Insensitivity backed by a moralistic self-righteousness (as the article put it) weilded by what seems like most of the young american soldiers is fuelling the insurgency. It's giving young muslims reason to hate the U.S and its "western intentions."
