ohh. now when I think back, I think I know why that happened. heh.
why?
well the way my steering wheel is positioned and how bunched up my keychain is with all my keys on it. sometimes when I started the ignition. I kinda shut the car off when the car was in the "starting to turn on" process. Ive done that a few times. that's only reason I can think of.

also, what would have happened if I just ignored it?[/quote:f305e]

I dont think that is the cause. IVe done that tons of times to my truck and a few to other cars. It still should have closed when you turned off the ignition. I think it was probably rusted or some electronic part fried in it.
