forwarding those ports is a workaround for a modem/router that uses NAT.
what if my adsl modem does not use NAT and the ports work this way to start with? i can get my running server accessable from the net is there anything i can do?
i dont know anything about this DHCP stuff so is it something there?
if you have any help i would really appreciate it i am tearing my hair out over this.
