Snooker tables 12 foot by 6 foot, pool tables like 8x4. In snooker you have to pot a red then a colour in that sequence. Plus unlike american pool tables snooker table pockets aren't massive in width so its harder to pot the balls.[/quote:b18a2]
Pool uses alot more english, kicking, and multi rail positioning (diamond system usage), you can't jump in snooker... umm technique and consistancy is king in snooker, you wont find too many old guys in the top snooker players, alot of them actually go on to compete 9ball.
