I have to agree, it's out of respect of the ppl who have died that day.
And for all you ppl who have issues with other country's, grow up, or at least on Sept 11/02, stop all this attitude shit and pay your respect.
I'm a Proud Canadian, and I will defintly be paying tribute to the fallen ( That day hit me hard as i'm a Medic myself )
