It would run it fine for windows etc, games would struggle at the monitors native res though. Probably better off getting a more upto date system instead of going for a bigger monitor. |
ugh, i figured someone would say that - no sense in getting a new monitor when i havent upgrade in 5 years...what do you think i could get for the $500 that i would have spent on the monitor? i already have a CRT, i just need a mobo, cpu, ram. how much of a stretch would my Radeon 9800 be if i wanted to play HL2, BF2, FEAR,etc? would i need a new vid card? i could possible toss in an extra $200. damn, its been too long - i havent followed the newer stuff lately, i dunno what i should get for my money..
