The pitching speed and breaks feel really authentic, probably the best of any baseball game I've played.
I got rid of the guess pitch option and lock in area and kept strikezone and hot zone basically for my own pitching good(which doesnt really help)

Tip: hardly use the power swing. I use primarily the normal X button swing and hit enough HRs. I only use the power swing if I KNOW a fastball is coming(2-0, 3-1 counts)[/quote:dd0a4]

I started by using the guess pitch on every pitch, but somebody told me if you guess wrong it's hard to hit it well, so I only use it on those same 2-0 or 3-1 counts. I've only used the power swing once.

The only thing that confuses me is you can use the R analog stick to direct your swing, but you can also use the L analog stick to do something similar to that?[/quote:dd0a4]

I didnt even realize about the right analog when I 1st started.

Right analog you only have to hit in a direction once. Left to try and hit it opposite field, right to pull the ball, up to get under the pitch and try and lift it and down to hit a grounder.

You use the left analog to aim your bat in the direction the ball is going. That you have to hold in that direction to aim there. ie down and away. inside, up and in, down and in..etc
