Interesting. I think that his point in suggesting carrying a .45 is that his life
is worth living, and protecting.
I just helped my daughter move from her dorm to an apartment yesterday. After seeing the neighborhood and the folks hanging around the apartment complex, I'll be buying her a gun and taking it to her next week.
If somebody breaks into her apartment, I want her to be able to defend herself. At least in my book a .45 is a better defense than yelling "go away bad man" and hoping for the best.
