My pc came with a tuner installed, the monitor can handle 1680x1050 even higher, and can have s-video, composite, vga, dvi (best to use for hdtv imo) and mostly everything else. I use media center to watch t.v on it, on the hdtv channels it looks pretty fucking amazing, dvds are awesome too. Oh and if you decide to get a tuner all you have to do is plug in the cable that's it also i suggest getting dscaler, it's a pretty good program to watch t.v on the p.c. and it's free, just google it.
