i guess i can understand if ur getting a drink or food or something just unplanned, but i work at the movie theatre and people come in with skateboards and i think "wtf, its not like you just hopped off your board and was like oh ill go see a movie". I think most of the time they do it because it looks cool, imo. maybe im wrong?
