Didnt get what ?? That he was fucked over ?? Boohoo. Tell me, is there any substantial proof that he "never fired his weapon" ?? Give me a fucking break. And he went to Afghanistan and decided to fight for the Taliban, but never really took sides ?? hake: Well he sure as fuck joined the wrong side that time didnt he ??

I'm not disputing the fact that the "Justice system" is flawed, ofcourse it is, so is everyone elses, and those Marines should be kicked out of the Corps with Dishonourable Discharge written on their papers. He may have been in the wrong place at the wrong the time, but the fact is, he was carrying a weapon for a "government" that supported terrorism and carried out it's own terror tactics to keep it's "citizens" in line. Bad choice for a guy who apparently wasnt taking sides while carrying a rifle and 2 grenades.

Once again, the US government has shown it's stupidity in dealing with the Taliban, like it has in the past with other groups and governments, just like when the US and Britain decided to help the Mujahideen in the 80's. They trained and equiped todays most dangerous terrorists. I know these governments should think before they act, fact is they dont, but thats what politcians do best.

Does any of this change my opinion on the sentence he got ?? No, it doesnt. He did the wrong thing, and all those other court rulings are evidence to me that the US judicial system needs a big fucking overhaul.
