It would help to a degree, but it could potentially reduce player numbers drastically. I mean, how many maps are out there? There are lots of legitmate files (avatars, HUD mods, map fixes and so on) that could potentially get missed in the config list. This would mean plenty of legitimate players would get kicked.

At the same time, what Strik0r said is right. You could just hide the offending files in legitimate pk3s.

It's a step in the right direction though. The more people working on anti cheating mods we have, the better.
