I go to the number 2 party school in the country and I haven't been buzzed or drunk in my life. With me, i've seen pure stupidity from drunks. I have nothing against them, it's just my experience with friends and alcohol. I have had 4 friends die in the past 4 years from alcohol related deaths. I've seen kids at school get $400 fines and have their stomachs pumped from being so intoxicated. I just feel like I can avoid all of that by not changing my personality. |
you're looking at it all wrong. yeah sure, kids will abuse it and get wasted off their ass leading to some of the things you just mentioned, but this doesn't mean that you will become like this. it boggles me that you would want to shelter youself like that without even having tried just a tiny tiny taste of a buzz. coleman, go out, drink a couple beers (as in 2) and see what happens, then you can make some sort of decision on the matter. you'll probably see that nothing happens other than you get a smile on your face and maybe laugh a bit more than usual.
