there's probably an identical file in both of them that is modified differently. one is overriding the other (the mod which is named alphabetically last I'd presume, in your case the mixed map one).

I had this same problem when running dogmeat's map fix along with the mixed gametype mod I'd made since they both had the same edited .scr files. the only way to fix this problem I know of is to open up the two pak files and find the offending file within them, which can be rather complicated for some people. then just make sure the modified one is in the pak which executes last (they exec in alphabetical order). if BOTH paks have the file modified --check them against your original if you have to-- then the easiest way to get around it is to combine the changes into one file (which is what I ended up doing) and make sure that one runs. it's a real pain in the ass, especially if the paks have a lot of files in them, but unless somebody else knows a better way (other than just not running one of the mods! LOL) then please let us know.

hopefully mod authors aren't putting a lot of extra unmodded files that are duplicates of ones already in the included paks uneccesarily...
