i was thinking about the Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 too, its cheap (kind of) im going out on Saturday to look at some parts i pick up the cpu and mobo then. I guess i will wait till the end of November for my video card.
you know of a link that will compare my cpu now to the Intel Core 2 Duo E6600?
